1. Delete your account

  1. Sign in and open your profile.
  2. Optional: choose Download my data to keep a copy (a ZIP file with your account, purchases and every wedding you take part in).
  3. Choose Delete account. Bridely shows, for each wedding, what will happen to it.
  4. Confirm. Your account is deleted at once and you are signed out.

If you cannot sign in, use the form below and choose "I have an account"; we will confirm that the address is yours before deleting anything.

2. What happens to shared weddings

Your roleWhat happens
Owner of a couple's wedding, with a partnerThe wedding goes to your partner, with everything in it, including the Wedding Pass. Family members who can edit or view never become owners automatically.
Owner of a couple's wedding, without a partnerThe wedding is deleted. Everyone else on it (family, planner) gets an e-mail first.
Owner of a planner agencyEach client wedding with a couple goes to that couple, who become its owner; the agency's internal notes and assignments are removed from it. Agency weddings without a couple are deleted, and the team is told by e-mail. Your team members keep their own accounts.
Member of a planner teamYou leave the team. The agency keeps its weddings; your open tasks and the weddings you led go back to the agency owner.
Partner, couple, family member or planner in someone else's weddingYou leave the wedding. The wedding stays with its owner.

In weddings that continue, your name in the activity history is replaced by "Former member" and your task comments show "Former member". Content you added to a wedding (for example guests, tasks or expenses) stays in that wedding, because it belongs to the wedding's owner; inspiration images you saved yourself are deleted with your account.

3. What we keep, and why

  • Invoices and payment records, because accounting and tax law require it: 5 years, counted from 1 July of the year after they were issued, or longer if a tax audit or a pending dispute requires it. They are no longer linked to an account.
  • The consent you gave at checkout and refund or dispute files, to answer chargebacks and legal claims, for as long as they can be brought: 3 years from the purchase (the general limitation period) or until a pending dispute ends.
  • Anonymous statistics (counts that no longer identify you).
  • Backups, for up to 7 days, until they are overwritten. We do not restore deleted accounts from backups.

A running subscription ends with the account. Weddings you were invited to and data you added to other people's weddings stay with those weddings.

4. How long it takes

Deleting your account in the app is immediate. Requests sent with the form or by e-mail are answered within 30 days at the latest (the law allows one month, extendable in complex cases; we tell you if that happens).

5. If you do not have an account

Guests, vendors and couples who used a planner's link do not have a Bridely account; their details were added by a couple or a planner. You can ask them directly, or send us this form. We forward guest and vendor requests to the wedding's owner and make sure they are handled; if the owner does not act within 14 days, we handle the request ourselves. In every case the request is resolved within one month of receiving it.

We use these details only to handle your request and keep a record of it.

6. Google sign-in and Pinterest

If you signed in with Google or connected Pinterest, deleting your Bridely account deletes the data we received from them (your Google identifier; imported Pinterest boards and pins and the access token). You can also remove Bridely's access in your Google account and in your Pinterest settings.
